Works, but not a great design

I took away 1 star because of the garage style poorly thought out non-user-friendly attachment system. 4 stars because it does work to hold the eco pod to the bike for safe viewing while in traffic. You are limited in how it can mount to your handle bars, e.g. knobs need access and cannot go on the stem tube out of the way of your hands. If someone important calls while on the bike I can pull over, or hit a bluetooth without digging out the phone. I also wanted to know my speeds, distances, and time, and this allows for that.

I guess I was expecting a car cellphone holder/ gps type design with integrated buttons that release the devise. The engineer made it simple, but screwing knobs seems like it would eventually lead to stripping the plastic knobs off the bolts, or striping the threads out and eventually will lead to rust. I'm just not impressed with the system. The whole eco pod seems good but also made by a high school engineer in some ways, with no financial backing thus leading to garage designs. If this is the case then they should market the system as such, from a small company/ non-corporate family, which will sell a lot, and I would support more.

The company needs to look into how other devices such a fish finders and GPS are attached to boats; which I can say is just as rough as riding a bike. (Try going 30+ mph in 4 foot swells to get home before dark and tell me boats are not as rough as bikes :)

I could recommend to a friend, but not highly recommend or encourage. It would be a last resort, and I am going to look into the pelican system now. Hopefully they have a way to attach it to handle bars.

This seemed to be my only choice when I searched. With a cell phone I do not need a headphone port since bluetooth works. It works especially well with the motorolla S305 bluetooth headset which I love. I listen to class lectures all around town.

The headphone jack does work on my boat when connecting to the Aux port of my stereo

How the system works. I'll add pics to help
In the pic from the company you can see three knobs. Far bottom left small knob with the metal in the middle stabilizes the handle bar bracket to the flap piece that hold your eco pod. So you can play with that hard to reach knob when you want to detach part of the bracket holding the eco pod and get it out of the rain; but this is a pain.

The knob in the middle to the right of the small little knob I just mentioned screws the handle bar bracket to the bike/ and bar.

The second option to take off your eco pod is to twist, and twist, and twist, the knob sticking out on the far right of the picture which then slides a holder out letting a big flap loose to slide your eco pod off. See the pics I will add after this post.

    UPDATE:
    In all my research
1.) I was not impressed at all with the water resistant Arkon case. $30
2.) The edemondo system seems cool [...] but it does not have an Aux headphone port unless you cut a hole which they don't recommend but say you can do in their youtube video. However with blootooth this is not a big deal, but the on the boat you would need a headphone port. $70 total eco pod needs to look at this mounting system!!!
3.) Another guy mentioned he monted an aqua box to his harley, but the mounting bracket while like a universal car cellphone holder, seems like you would loose your phone easily. $40 plus bike mount
